Project Description
To provide a focused platform to the stakeholders engaged in Skills Development, the State Government organized a flagship event- Skill Summit 2018, Momentum Jharkhand from 12th-13th January, 2018 at Ranchi. The Skill Summit attracted participation across multiple domains in skill development.
It is also an opportunity to understand the potential of Jharkhand in various sectors and an excellent occasion to interact with the policy makers, skills providers, employers, and thought leaders from all across the world. This Summit will bring together crosscurrents of opinions, views and ideas inherent to Skill Development, as the State prepares to meet new challenges and imperatives.
Project Details
In order to demonstrate the employability of the skilled youth of Jharkhand, Honorable Chief Minister distributed 25,000 Job Offers to the youth of the State. The Rozgar Mela was organized as a part of the summit and it saw participation from renowned companies in India. Several Ministers, Secretaries, Ambassadors, Foreign Partners, Sector Skill Councils, Industry leaders and employers, Training Partners and several other delegates attended this historical moment. Partners from 6 countries participated in this splendid moment. There were more than 500 delegates who attended the daylong event. The Skill Summit 2018, Momentum Jharkhand will lead to an upliftment of the Skill Ecosystem of Jharkhand.
